Highlighting is the system that powers quizzing. If you highlight certain key words on your cards, these will be the things that you'll be quizzed on.
When you import cards using Magic Import, Gizmo will highlight certain words in green for you automatically. This is what it thinks would be the best to quiz you on. If you want to change this, you can! You have full control.
📝 The highlighting system works as part of a progressive testing model. At first, only some of highlighted words are blanked out when quizzing on new cards. When you get familiar with those words, more/others will be blanked out
Adding a highlight
To add a highlight, go to the Card you want to highlight and simply click on the words you want to be quizzed on. These will then be highlighted in green.
You can also highlight more than one word by clicking and dragging over multiple words. For example, if you wanted to be quizzed on someone's full name, click the first name and then drag to the surname like below.
Removing a highlight
To remove the highlight, click anywhere on the green highlighted word/sentence. This will remove the highlight ready for you to add a new one.
