If you're stuck on a question in Memorise mode, or get one wrong, here's what's available to help.
Before you answer
🔑 Hint: gives you a nudge towards the right answer without giving it away outright. See What are Hints? for how these work.
🔍 Reveal: shows you the correct answer outright, if you'd rather just see it and move on.
💬 Explain: gives you an explanation of why that's the correct answer, handy if you want to understand the topic rather than just get the question right.
If you get it wrong
Getting a question wrong costs one Heart. Gizmo also uses spaced repetition to bring that card back sooner, sometimes within the same session, so you get another chance to learn it properly. You'll see a Forgotten tag on the question when this happens.
Protecting your Hearts
A Super Heart protects you from losing a Heart if you get a question wrong, rather than helping you get it right in the first place. Since Hints and Super Hearts cover different moments, before you answer, versus after you get it wrong, you can use both on the same question. Both can be bought with Coins in the Shop, or come included with Unlimited.
