Once you've hatched a monster (or pet, you'll see both terms used in the app), you can equip it for a passive bonus and level it up over time by feeding it Monster Essence.
Where do I find my monsters?
Open your profile and go to the Stats tab, then tap Pet collection to see every monster you've caught, plus the ones you haven't found yet.
Equipping monsters
Tap any monster you own to equip it as one of your Active pets. While a monster is equipped, its passive bonus applies.
📝 You start with a limited number of Active pet slots. Tap Buy more slots in your Pet collection to add extra slots using coins.
What bonuses can monsters give?
Every monster has its own passive bonus. Some boost your Streak XP, some boost the amount of Monster Essence you get from duplicate eggs, and some boost your chance of bonus coins.
💡 Try equipping monsters that match how you like to study, for example a Streak XP boost if you're chasing a personal best.
Levelling up a monster
Tap a monster (or pet) in your collection to see its details, then feed it Monster Essence matching its rarity, for example Common Monster Essence for a Common monster, to level it up. Each level makes its passive bonus a little stronger.

Buying Monster Essence and slots
Running low on Monster Essence, or want another Active pet slot? Head to the Shop. You'll find Common, Rare and Legendary Monster Essence under Pet supplies, along with extra Pet Slots, all purchasable with coins.
Monsters I haven't caught yet
Monsters you haven't hatched show up as a silhouette in your Pet collection. Keep hatching Catch-of-the-day eggs to reveal them.
