Once a Gizmo Live game starts, here's what to expect from the first question through to the end of the round.
Answering a question
Everyone answers the same questions at the same time, racing against the clock. Each question shows a countdown timer and your running XP total. Pick an answer and Gizmo will mark it Correct or Incorrect, show you the right answer if you got it wrong, and show how long you took.
Correct answers earn XP, the faster you answer, the more you get, while incorrect answers earn 0 XP.
Checking the leaderboard
Between questions, Gizmo shows a leaderboard ranking everyone in that game by XP so far, with medals for the top spots. This only covers the current game, it's separate from your ongoing League ranking.
Making a bet
Sometimes you'll get the chance to bet XP on whether another player answers their next question correctly. Use the - and + buttons to set your bet, then predict Correct or Incorrect. Guess right and you win the XP you bet, guess wrong and you lose it.
Finishing a round
Once a round finishes, you'll see final placements and the total XP everyone earned.
Scroll through Your answers to see whether you got each question right, with the correct answer shown if you didn't, and tap Explain on any of them for a full explanation, see What happens if I'm stuck or get a question wrong in Memorise mode? for more. Tap Start round 2 to jump straight into another round with the same group.
