A Daily Quiz posts one question to a chat every day, so everyone in the chat, whether it's a study group or a one-to-one chat with a friend, can answer it together.
Setting up a Daily Quiz
In the chat's side panel, under Daily quiz, tap Setup. Choose Decks to base it on one of your existing decks, or Topic to type your own topic or instructions instead. Gizmo suggests a few topics to get you started. The first question is posted straight away, then a new one is posted every day at the scheduled time.
To change the deck, topic or time later, or to turn the Daily Quiz off, tap Edit quiz on the Daily Quiz message in the chat.
Answering the Daily Quiz
Each day's question appears in the chat as a multiple-choice card. Tap Hint for a clue, or Reveal to see the answer.
You can also open today's question from the side panel: tap Play Now under Daily quiz. A countdown shows how long is left to answer before it's replaced by the next one, and History lets you look back at previous questions.
Want an extra question outside the daily schedule? Tap Generate question below the chat at any time for a bonus question.
The Daily Quiz streak
The Daily Quiz keeps its own streak for the chat. Everyone in the chat needs to answer that day's question for it to count, shown as "X more people need to answer to start a streak" until everyone has. Once everyone's answered, you'll see a Group streak satisfied message and the streak count goes up.
📝 This is separate from your own personal Streak, which only tracks the questions you answer yourself.
If the chat is at risk of missing a day, you may see a Streak freeze applied message letting you know the group needs to answer that day's quiz to keep the streak going.
