There are a few ways to react to what's happening in a Gizmo chat, or manage the chat itself, whether it's a study group or a one-to-one chat with a friend.
Quick reactions
Tap ❤️, 👋 or 🔥 below the chat to send that reaction as its own message. Tap the emoji icon next to them for more options.
Reacting to a message
Select any message in the chat to react to it directly, or reply to it.
More message options
Tap the three dots (⋯) on a message for more options:
Copy copies the message text.
Mark as unread marks the conversation as unread again from that message.
Report flags the message.
📝 Once you report a message, it's replaced with a "Reported" label in your chat.
Managing the chat
Tap the three dots next to Invite at the top of the chat for more options:
Mute notifications stops notifications for this chat, without leaving it.
Archive chat deletes the chat.
⚠️ This can't be undone, so make sure you want to remove the chat before selecting it.
Block user blocks the person you're chatting with.
Report chat reports the whole conversation. This is different to reporting a single message, covered above.
